The Return

Sorry for my very extended period of absence. I have finally managed to acquire a job. I have had an incredibly lovely and fulfilling break. Here is a quick catch up:

• Hen Parties in St Tropez are beautiful and full of sunshine and laughter.
• There is something magical about being up before 7am at the weekends.
• I am very jealous of my growing number of pregnant friends.
• We have finally started the decorating.
• I am capable of growing things (much to my amazement)
• Everyday there is something to make my heart smile.

I will expand on each of these points soon. But for now I am off to wait tables and create glorious smoothies. Toodle pip.

Underwear Crazy

I have never been one to have beautiful panties. I always wished and dreamed of being one of those girls who wore matching underwear every day. This is still a dream of mine. One I have taken one step closer to achieving...

Whilst meandering back from my new exciting job serving others I came across a lovely little lingerie shop called Bordello on Curtain Road. In this lovely little shop I found some rather delectable silk and chiffon pieces. Somewhat out of my price range I trotted straight home to do some more research only to find that Sexy Panties and Naughty Knickers are doing some phenomenal deals. 1 silk nighty, 3 bras and 6 pairs of knickers later I am a much happier and somewhat sexier lady!

Miss Mariposa Loves... Mariah Gardner's House

I have always had a soft spot for San Francisco, but when I came across Mariah Gardner's beautiful abode whilst searching for inspiration for our impending decoration whirl, the soft spot became decidedly mushier.

She is the queen of vignettes and frame arrangements I think you'll agree.

What an incredibly talented woman.

Knitting Aspirations

I have been happily progressing with my own first real knitting project (a very simple yet time consuming long pom pomie scarf) but I keep finding fabulous projects like these Fuzzy Mitten teddy bears by Barbara Prime.
